Isaiah 61 and Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale Enter Into Distribution Partnership

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – March 23, 2010 – Isaiah 61 and Calvary Chapel of Fort Lauderdale, FL, led by Pastor Bob Coy, have signed a distribution agreement for their line of products produced by the church’s Active Word media ministry and record label, Ocean’s Edge Music (OEM).

Isaiah 61 will handle world-wide distribution rights and marketing to all retail channels for recorded music products and DVDs, with three new products coming this spring.

“Isaiah 61 is honored to represent the ministry resources of Bob Coy and Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale’s OEM record label. Bob and OEM’s worship team and songwriters are some of the most dynamic communicators in the church today. We’re thrilled to introduce their ministry worldwide,” said Cathy Alward, President of Isaiah 61.

"It's our calling to make disciples. Teaming with Isaiah 61 is an exciting new opportunity to deliver the Word to ears that have yet to hear," said Bob Coy.

Pastor Coy’s love for the Bible and for life comes alive in every message he shares with the more than 18,000 people in attendance each week at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale, one of the ten largest churches in America. From the Active Word, the media ministry for Bob’s messages, comes two new DVDs. “Gotta Grudge? How To Become Heart-Healthy And Let Go Of Resentment,” in stores April 20, 2010, is a powerful message that lays out God’s pathway to a forgiving heart and a healthier, more productive spirit. Second in the series is the DVD, “Goodbye Goliath: How Big Is Your God?” in stores May 25, 2010. On this DVD, Pastor Coy examines the battle between the shepherd boy David and the giant Goliath to teach that God will sufficiently equip us for victory over all of life’s battles.

OEM’s first music release, available May 4, 2010, is Higher Praise Live: Those Who Wait, a live recording of one night of worship at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale. The voices and instruments of the worship team and congregation come together in a passionate expression of excitement and anticipation about the wonders and grace of the Risen Lord. Produced by the church’s worship leader, Clay Hecocks, the depth of the lyrics, well-crafted original songs and superb production showcase a fresh new sound in worship music.

Bob Coy began Calvary Chapel of Fort Lauderdale in 1985. As senior pastor, he is well known for his unique style in expounding the Scriptures, making them come alive and relate to living in the 21st century.
